National Urban Sanitation Policy (NUSP) is adopted by Government of India in October 2008 to address the issues of urban sanitation and Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). To support NUSP, Gesellschaft fur international Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is awarded contract for consultancy services for the “Preparation of discharge for canal side settlements in Cochin” behalf of Cochin Municipal Corporation.

Our assignments

Preparation of report on GIS compilation with data available with irrigation department for 4.5 km of Rameswaram canal in Cochin, Kerala.

Services Provided

Collection total station survey and footprint houses maps

Study of 250m of buffering area on both sides of Rameswaram canal

Compilation of data base with GIS mapping.
